Privacy and browser saves
Updated 21 October 2026. This describes the current beta with basic Cloudflare Web Analytics and no advertising.
What the game stores
The game uses browser-local storage for drafts, preferences, recent results, practice and challenge attempts, and recovery copies of unreadable saves. It keeps up to 50 recent results in each normal/practice/challenge history. There is no game account, cloud-save service or cross-device sync. If storage is unavailable, changes may last only while the page stays open.
What is sent
Your browser requests the game and data files from Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes ordinary request information such as IP address and request/browser metadata to deliver and protect the site; its handling is governed by its own policies. The game has no advertising code or feedback submission form. This is not a claim that hosting requests leave no logs.
Result and challenge links encode game version, seed and relevant actions in the URL fragment. Fragments are not part of the HTTP request to the site, but copying a link or sharing it through another app discloses it to that recipient or app. Anyone with a result link can view that run. Do not put personal information in feedback.
Traffic and performance measurement
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate page visits and loading performance, including Core Web Vitals. Reports can include page paths, referring sites, country, browser, operating system and device category. It does not measure completed games or identify returning players across devices, and we have not added game-event tracking, session recording or advertising tracking. Cloudflare states that it does not track individual visitors across its customers’ websites.
The analytics beacon excludes URL query strings and fragments from reported page and referrer URLs. We do not send replay or challenge payloads, draft contents or browser-local history to analytics. The browser sends timing and request metadata to Cloudflare; this is not a guarantee that hosting requests leave no logs. Blocking the analytics script does not prevent gameplay.
Your controls
You can clear this site's data in your browser to remove browser-local records. New Run restarts a draft; it is not a complete deletion of all stored history or recovery copies. Clearing site data can permanently remove local saves.
Different website addresses
statsplice.pages.dev and statsplice.com have separate browser storage. Visiting a new address does not transfer your drafts, history or personal bests. Keep the original site available to access existing records. A shared result link lets you view a completed run at a compatible site, but does not migrate your history.

For privacy questions, email [email protected]. If you choose to email, your address and message are received through Gmail and used to respond. Do not include sensitive information. The website does not send an email automatically.
