How to play Statsplice

  1. Choose NBA, NFL or MLB and a mode. Open Book shows stats before you choose; Blind Draft keeps those stats hidden until the result.
  2. Choose an offered player when there is more than one, then assign one unused stat category. Each pick fills one of ten slots.
  3. Use your one optional reroll when the offer does not fit your remaining slots. It replaces the current offer, not a completed pick.
  4. Finish all ten picks. Ten equally weighted category scores produce your final average. Current drafts have a 100-point stretch target and a 110 maximum.

Scores compare each stat with qualified entries in that draft version's fixed pool. Below-minimum samples score zero. Lower turnovers, ERA and WHIP are better. Displayed points are rounded; the final average uses full precision. Archived versions retain their own rules.

For example, if all ten category scores are 80, the final score is 80. A specialist can be valuable in one category while weak in another.

Help and Scoring in the top-right provide sport-specific rules, sample minimums and optional player details. Stats holds recent completed results. Practice repeats a deterministic draft; a playable challenge hides the sender's choices. A result link reveals the completed board.

Switching sports starts fresh drafts for the destination sport after any required warning. Modes keep separate ordinary saves. Save access depends on this browser and this website address.
