Statsplice MLB source/data package — local release candidate

This archive contains only explicitly listed MLB source tables, editable CSVs,
derived JSON, the statistical/selection/export transformations, and notices.
No credentials, user files, game saves, repository history, prior archives,
node_modules, other-sport data or unrelated application source is included.
Public package-author contact information in the unchanged DESCRIPTION is
retained as attribution, not sourced from the local user's personal files.

REPRODUCE FROM INCLUDED EDITABLE CSV INPUTS
1. Extract into an empty directory and run commands from its root.
2. Python3 standard library only: python3 scripts/build-mlb.py
This reproduces src/mlb-400.json and src/mlb-meta.json; it also writes
release-mlb/selection.json as a generated diagnostic (not an old archive).
3. Optional HTML/CSV export: node scripts/export-mlb.mjs
Requires modern Node with JSON import attributes (tested Node26).
No npm install or network access is required. Output: public/ and exports/.
4. Compare outputs against SHA256SUMS.json. Source tables and supplied outputs
are frozen. The supplied CSV-to-pool and export stages are verified; the
original RData-to-CSV temporary conversion environment is not reconstructed.

Each adapted data file has an adjacent .license notice; code files have
SPDX/copyright/change headers. MLB-MODIFICATIONS.txt documents all changes.
COPYING is the full GPLv2 text. SHA256SUMS.json covers every other archive member.
The package manifest separately records upstream checksums and license scope.
The full application, UI, build system and gameplay engines are deliberately
excluded; this is the MLB source/data component, not an assertion that it is
complete corresponding source for every possible combined application.
